FAQ
What does for-profit mean?
This zine is for-profit, meaning that the artists and organizers will be compensated for their work. Profits are the leftover revenue from the sales, taking into account printing, shipping, and any other costs, and other compensation can include full zine + merch bundles if the artist is not able to be given money. We have also been given express permission from the crew to go ahead with this project, in case there were any worries over legality.
What kind of work will be featured in the zine?
Both digital and traditional works will be featured in the zine, so long as they follow the given format and color profiles, etc. We are also including QR codes to link to videos or music that people make, assuming there's enough interest. All pieces will also be canon-compliant, meaning there will not be AU art.
Can I submit a written piece?
As this is an art zine, we will not be accepting written works. This decision was also made to cut out the risk of NSFW works being submitted, as well as simplifying printing and composition.
What kind of merch will there be?
Merch will feature post-cards, posters, small prints, buttons, enamel pins, stickers, and acrylic charms! Upon reaching all of our stretch goals our physical zines will now include additional merch.
Can I apply as a mod?
We are already full on mods, so the answer here is no.
What are the types of artists being hired?
The mod team has selected 93 individual artists to produce single pages, full spreads, merch, and the cover of the zine.
